Metro Automatic Fare Collection

In partnership with Cubic
Transportation USA, VFJ took part in the implementation
of an automatic fare collection system for the Shanghai
Metro Corporation in 1999. In 2003, VFJ participated
in a similar project of automatic fare collection system
in Beijing Metro Line.
In both projects, VFJ contactless smartcard readers and
security management system were installed as in-gate
validator, re-charge terminals as well as balance enquiry
terminals. Ticket vending machines were also put in place
in Shanghai Metro Lines No. 1 & 2.

Tollway Automatic Fare Collection

VFJ has been actively involved
in the application of contactless smartcard technology
for tollway fare collection in China. We have helped
setting the operational standards in many provinces and
enjoy a leading market share in such applications with
installations in the following provinces:

Chongqing, Qinghai, Heilongjiang, Hunan, Jiangxu, Sichuan

Presto3 is our newly developed contactless reader certified by MasterCard® for PayPass™ application. Its robust design makes it well suited for different environments, both indoor and outdoor. Using a ferrite-shielded antenna, it functions perfectly well unaffected by any interference from metal objects in its vicinity.
